March 11 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks pared losses as technology companies rallied and raw-materials producers trimmed their retreat. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index fell 0.1 percent to 1,144.17 at 10:44 a.m. in New York after decreasing as much as 0.6 percent earlier.
